East beach villas. Windswept unit 4331. Extremely clean. Small kitchen, large living area, small one bedroom w king bed. Nice roomy bathroom. Seems to be redone recently, from furnishings to cabinetry etc. very small balcony fitting barely 2 chairs and table. Top floor end unit, very quiet. View of beach (probably 50 yards away) from balcony, living area, and bedroom.... More

Last minute we decided to extend our vacation and incorporate a stop at Kiawah Island and while it has been on our 'go to' list for years, this is our first visit. We were more than pleasantly surprised! The island is gorgeous with lush tropical plants and trees and is beautifully maintained. We stayed in a premier villa - Seacape... More

If you want luxury at it's best you need to stay at The Sanctuary! The accommodations are first class and so is the staff. Beautiful rooms and great food all under one roof. I highly recommend this for a romantic getaway!

I think the bulk of reviews are quite accurate. It is expensive. (They nickle and dime everything here. I mean toast is $4. You could buy multiple loaves for this price. Come on Kiawah, lower those food prices.. a bit outrageous! I think they need to provide more free activities included in the price, for the rate they charge). That... More

10th stay here, as always, it was fantastic. Accommodations, service and the beauty of the Hotel brings us back year after year. Golf is great, my wife likes the beach and pool and after a round at the Ocean course, meets me for drinks afterward at the Ryder Cup bar located there. Probably the best setting for drinks or light... More

the condo units area OK, but the furniture in the condo that I was in and that of and associates were 1980 vintage with faded couches and bedspreads. It was obvious that you were renting someones condo. the towels were also rather ragged at times. On the other hand, you can sleep 4-5 in a 1 bedroom unit, and the... More

It truly makes you chose where you belong the haves or have nots. The Sanctuary is amazing elegant aloof and more expensive than the expensive Kiawah. the villas I stayed in were dated and tired. The unit as several others were for sale. to be fair Kiawah has a drearier atmosphere because of the foliage. Environmentally it is probably better... More

Kiawah Island is so amazingly lovely, and our Villa was very nice. Cozy bed, (plus another room with 2 single beds & ensuite), well stocked kitchen, fluffy towels, and amazing ocean views from 2 balconies. Transportation shuttles are excellent, and staff can not do enough for you. Some renovations are needed, but very minor. We would stay here again for... More

If you're looking for a place to host a business event, Kiawah is it! We hosted top producers from within and outside of the company, and from the time we arrived to the time we departed the resort staff took care of everything. Our group stayed in the Villa's and we received numerous positive comments about how nice they were.... More

our large group of golfers descended upon kiawah island in april. there were over a hundred of us. the resort put us in a variety of villas, which we compared at length during our golf and social events. we two stayed in a nicely kept older unit owned by a couple who had decorated it with monkey-themed art and some...
