We stayed here for one night. The staff was pleasant enough but there was a large senior citizen tour group checking in at the same time we did which meant it took a while. The hotel is comfortable and in a great location for seeing Patriot's Point or basically seeing anything in Charleston. The bed was very comfortable and the... more

I stayed the last two nights and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff tells me they are just wrapping up a renovation and the hotel looks awesome! Everyone was really friendly and I would recommend the crab cakes that I had for dinner last night. Nice job and I want to know who your decorator is! more

I stayed here for a family wedding. We received a discounted rate, but for $100 a night it was not worth it. To be fair, the hotel is undergoing renovations and will probably be alot nicer in a few months. We are Priority club members and asked for a renovated room. I think the carpet was new, but compared to... more

Originally booked two nights at the hotel, based on descriptions in the travel guide. My husband and I were very dissappointed in the cheap linens and furniture in the rooms. No refrigerator. Hair dryer did not work. Wall facing the bed had enough dust bunnies on it to stuff a pillow. Bathroom was clean and beds were fresh, but sewn... more

Just got back from a one night stay bid on at Priceline. This property was real good probably 5 to 10 years ago. Now it is nothing special. Corridors need new carpet and paint job. Our room had well worn furniture with big, obvious water stains. The handle came off the bathroom faucet after one use, however, we were able... more

I made a reservation at this hotel for one evening, 3 days before my stay. I booked the reservation online. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly. Got the key to my room and checked in. The room was very pleasant. Very well appointed, spacious and clean. No issues whatsoever. Later I had an appetizer in the bar. The food was... more

we couldn't find a place to stay in Charleston itself that took kids so this was our next option. It was awful. You are off a highway. Pool is not heated and miserable. We left after 18 hours and went to Wild Dunes on Palm Island instead...that was amazing! more

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The carpet in my room had not been vacuumed in a LONG time, the wall beside the elevator was dirty, the ice machine/vending room had an overflowing trash can, the public bathroom was filthy, the food for our meeting was, at best, so-so, and the staff became even more rude when... more

Located just a few miles from downtown Charleston and very close to Patriot's Point, this is a convenient hotel if looking to stay close to the attractions without being downtown. We were here on a school trip with a large group and had no choice on the hotel. I usually avoid Holiday Inns because I have seen them to be... more

I stayed at this hotel on a weekend trip to Charleston, and appreciated its proximity to downtown. The front desk staff was helpful and the rooms were quite large and very clean. The breakfast buffet is well worth the $10 extra (for two) that we opted to pay along with our room rate. My only complaint was with the bar... more
