The Hampton Inn at Patriot's Point is a great hotel. Super location - midway between downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant. Clean room, good breakfast and easy check-in/out. The hotel was a bit hard to find from US 17 as it's tucked away behind Best Western. Get directions before you come! more

It's tucked off around a corner from Rte 17, in a really nice setting under some old live oaks. The staff is very friendly and professional. While some of the room and lobby furniture is getting a little worn, it's more of a comfortable than shabby effect. Things were clean and the bathroom appeared to have been fairly recently renovated.... more

Great place to stay while touring Charleston. Why pay the expensive rates to stay in the historic district when this hotel is only five to ten minutes away by way of the NEW bridge.
