The Yachtsman Resort is the place to stay. I have been going to Myrtle Beach for years and wouldnt stay anywhere else. I believe that people may be getting the Yachtsman confused with the center tower (glass tower) but it is not affliliated. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and well equipped. First of all the Sea Glass Tower is not part of the Yachtsman Resort anymore it was sold out. Booked through Bluegreen(own at Seaglass Tower) but when booked, was told that this was a sister resort. Where to begin? Problems with kitchen sink backing up with black water, bathroom sinks didn't drain good. We booked through our Bluegreen Resort. To our surprise when we arrived we had 3 rooms all over the pool area. All units were dirty. The kitchen sinks in two backed up twice each. We use RCI for timeshare exchange. RCI was great but the staff at the Yachtsman were awful. They were rude and made it very clear that the satisfaction of the patrons was not important. Our room was incredibly small for the four people that were indicated to fit. The bedroom was shared with the wall that faces the street traffic... more
