Husband and I stayed here for a Saturday and Sunday night and the price was a little steep for the amenities. Parking was limited, but we found a spot each time and there is security walking around at night. The room was obviously outdated... water spots, small bathroom with bugs in fluorescent lights, old carpet and bedspreads. Otherwise appeared mostly... more

Hubby and I stayed at the Diplomat 5/1 to 5/4/09. We had stayed here several years ago so already knew parking spaces are scarce and that it's very close to the road. No big deal. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Myrtle Beach, SC. First of all it is right in the heart of the loudest area on the strip of Myrtle Beach.
