We have stayed at the Sea Dum...Dip many times. This past fall we moved up N. Ocean Blvd. to a new place. It was nicer, but they ALL have their problems. Getting back to The Dip. I don't understand why there are so many bad comments posted about this hotel. It was exactly what I expected. It has some age on it, but the rooms were clean, housekeeping staff was polite, the bathrooms were clean and the airconditioner worked, bathroom linens were always availabe and the bed linens were changed. they advertise wireless internet... however, little do you know you have to be in the office lobby to pick it up. the elevator broke down repeatedly. the front office staff were horrible. completely rude. the room was filthy. one of the box springs was disgusting with stains and holes. AC units drip from all balconies so you can't lean over... more

Our stay at the sea dip was not bad but when it came to the lazy river it is for kids .on the week days they closed the pool& whirlpool at 10:00 which was not fair to the older people .Me my self i like to sit in it before i turned in for the night .i will not stay... more

We stayed 2 nights in an oceanfront executive suite, the day we left we were checking for item around beds and my husband found several raisins and a sprite cap between the bed and nightstand....we had neither of those. There was a huge gouge on the bedroom door that wasn't repaired just painted over. The elevator which was rickety smelled... more

Horrible motel in need of a remodel. Room smelled awfull. One elevator which broke while we were here. Holes in the wall, refridgerator was dented and shelves broken.
