I stayed with friends during senior week. This hotel is perfect for teens who are there for the parties and not so much the room. The room could be much cleaner and the lack of an elevator is a pain in the neck. And like others who wrote reviews, I also witnessed the homeless who sleep on the steps going... more

i wish i had rad the reviews before i went there. When we got to the beach everything was booked to capacity and this was the only hotel with a vacancy. Did not stay my entire stay just overnight because i could not put up with the nasty conditions anymore. Would not reccommend this hole in the wall for a... more

We have been going there for over 10 years , usually in September but took an early break last year. Have seen 3 or 4 different managers over the years but were treated OK and it was priced right in our 7 -11 day stay range. Close to most attractions, and oceanfront. It was a very bad staying experience last... more

This place is a real dump. Do not waste your money staying there because no matter how much you complain the Owners don't care. They are the reason the Java East is in the shape it is today. They do not have a clue how to manage a motel. The owner is rude and cares nothing about his guest. It... more

I didn't want to say anything bad about Java East because in years past I rather liked it. However recollecting my 2004 visit there were several little inconveniences. For example, toting all my gear up to the 4th. floor I had to be really careful not to catch my foot in the torn carpeting; grabbing the handrail I realized that... more

Over the years, my mom and I have stayed at Java a few times. It USED to be a reaonably-priced, "modest" motel with a concerned and helpful owner. It has changed hands twice in the last couple of years, and is now a filthy, buggy, overpriced hole. Never see a maid, empty own trash into already-overflowing trash cans, call at... more

I will never forget my experience at Java East. We were on a family vacation and traveling with a party of about thirty people. We had chosen the Java East because the web site had shown pictures of a nice, oceanfront hotel with clean rooms. We were also told that the rooms had been newly remodeled. This was not the... more

We were there in Myrtle Beach June 27 to July3,2004.We had reservations for this hotel. When we arrived, and were in the lobby to check in, I was shocked to see the unkept, very dirty look to both exterior, and interior. My daughter and I asked to see the rooms. We were allowed to go see them. Their intenet website... more
