Excellent quality for the price. The room was clean and smelled good (very important!). Front desk staff was friendly even though they were very busy. Breakfast was good. Location was also good, with several other hotels close-by. Great location--close to convention center and an easy hop onto the highway to get to downtown Charleston. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever seen. Our company booked this hotel. The room smelled and the carpet was filthy. The clerk was rude. There was no one in the parking lot which should have given us a clue that it was terrible. We just could not spend a night there. more

Hotel has no interior corridors--twice during our one night stay there we had someone trying to break into our room--front desk refused to do anything about it and second time we called down, two hours after first incident was not answering phone.
