This is barely a 2 star, yet listed as 3. The Sands is great if you are in you early 20s and just need a place to pass out. Although it appeared to have had maid service, the room was filthy. The room was really DIRTY. I had to put a blanket and some towels over the funiture before my family would even sit on them. The tub had HUGE HOLES in it from RUST and so did the medicine cabinet. The resort is located North of Myrtle Beach and allows for some privacy. However, be careful of the waterbugs because they take over the resort at night time.
