Just arrived home after our stay at the Hartford Inn which is located at 5409 N.Ocean Blvd not 5310 as TripAdvisor has listed. We ran across this place as a last resort due to no vacancies in Myrtle Beach and were happy with our discovery. I saw this motel listed but not rated and wondered about the place but without pictures, reviews or a website to consult I passed it by. After arriving and going from place to place looking for a rental I finally called here and we made the drive up from Myrtle Beach. Now we're glad we did. We usually stay at the Palms Resort but may never go there again during the Summer months. The Hartford Inn is an older, second row motel but it's clean and offers units that sleep up to 8. They also have a beach house available for rent. There is no indoor pool so we won't be staying here during our off season vacations but the kids loved the outdoor pool which is kept clean and has plenty of lounge chairs, tables and even a porch swing.
