My husband and I just got back from a trip to Seneca, SC and the mountains in NC; specifically Cashiers and Highlands. We decided to stay at the Days Inn in Seneca since it was the most economical place to stay close to the mountains. For $55 a night I found the Days Inn Seneca to be quite nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a microwave and fridge in each room as well as internet access (though I didn't use it). Will find a room elsewhere next time if in this area. Our "non-smoking" room wasn't -- there were ashes on pillowcases, ashes on the lampshade, ashes near the sink. Since I stressed in my reservation that I have allergies and smoke bothers me; it obviously didn't matter and this place just wanted to rent a room. The room actually reaked... more
