The hotel exterior and lobby were both kinda dingy looking, but not bad. It seemed more out of date than anything. The room was also dingy. My husband and I stayed here overnight on our yearly fall trip to the NC mountains, so this was just a quick stopover. Still, like most people, we want a clean, comfortable room in a safe location. Stayed here for about 4 days..when i asked for extra pillows or anything, i got it! the staff was very accommodating and always said hello when i went through tth elobby...HArd workers, good beds, great cleaning staff! more

Hotel very secure. I have been staying in Spartanbug for work since March and have tried many motels. HJ is a nice hotel with great staff. However the beds ar hard as rocks. I like a firm bed but this was to much more
