It's right off the highway and there's plenty of places to eat close by. The room is big, the beds are comfortable and there's plenty of dresser room. The bathroom is clean and the shower head powerful. TV has plenty of channels and it's easy to navigate (unlike some other places with proprietary menus). Pretty big swimming pool. more
My family & I were traveling to Myrtle Beach for vacation & my husband suggested we stay @ Motel 6 in Spartanburg on the way down. We have stayed @ other Motel 6s, but this one was awful. I've stayed at a number of Motel 6's and this one sifts towards the bottom. The good: desk clerk was friendly. A/C was nice and cold. Free local calls. Once I got past the inexperienced desk clerk who had to confirm just about every detail of our interaction with a supervisor (at least she got everything right, but it took a while) this stay was just fine.
