My daughters and I rented through Island Realty in Isle of Palms, SC. We stayed at Summerhouse condos and it was great. It was beachfront, nicely decorated, clean, and convenient. We went in August and it was not crowded. There were people, certainly, but it was nice and relaxing...not hectic. If you've never made a trip to Isle of Palms, you are really missing out. WIth Charleston, SC, within a 25-minute drive, there is plenty to keep you entertained (if a book and the beach isn't enough). Restaurants are a plenty, too. more
