This is a wonderful boutique hotel at the foothills of WNC. The photos on their website and brochure do not do it justice. Just returned from a few evenings at La Bastide and have rave reviews to report. Warm and friendly staff, fabulous food and extremely plush bedding. Wonderfully appointed rooms, all different, with one of the best mattresses we've ever slept on. Highly recommend for that special weekend away!!. more

Our 3 days at La Bastide couldn't have been more pleasant. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. At our disposal was a pantry stocked with beverages and snacks. Just got back from our weekend at the inn. Loved every minute of it! We went to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Room was great, wonderful bedding! Turn down service was excellent! Ate at the restaurant for dinner and the food was out of this world! Service was top notch! Don't miss the breakfast, again fantastic! Can't wait to go back! more
