We stayed here on August 16, 2009 on our way from Wisconsin to Mt. Rushmore/Devil's Tower. Front Desk staff we very friendly and our kids enjoyed the water slide in the pool area. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. There is a restaurant right next door called Tailgator's. Food was very good. more

Our room was wonderful - beds comfy, room was very clean. We spent a couple of hours at the pool. My husband said the slide was great. One disadvantage is that there is not an area deeper than 1 1/2 feet when the slide is running. Chlorine level was very high, I had to leave it was hurting my eyes... more

We stayed here for my work Christmas party. The beds and pillows are fabulous. So soft, so comfortable. Upon arriving, there was a complimentary bag of Cheetos and a bottle of water waiting. We spent the night here after 2 days on the road between NY and Yellowstone. The hotel was beautiful,clean, the rooms were excellent...we had a nice sized suite with seperate bedroom and small kitchen type area. Stayed here after driving 12 hours one day. The desk staff was very helpful, offering us suggestions where to eat.(See my review of Tailgators). We did not look at the so-called water park. Stayed in July '07 with family on national parks tour. Our son loved the 2-story slide in the pool area. The hotel called their pool a waterpark, but I would hesitate to say that. It did have a dumping bucket and water features for smaller children. Our room -- king with sofa bed -- was actually two rooms (without doors).... more

The hotel appears to be very new. The room size was standard and the room was clean, besides the very long hair left on the blow dryer in the room.
