If you like to gamble, well, then it's a good hotel to go. It has lot's of gambeling machines. The hotel is at the end od Deadwood, on the hill near the road. It's quite a long walk to the center of the town, but you can grab a shuttle bus, so no problem about that. The hotel rooms are... more

Prices over double from normal rates because it's Sturgis week. Only 1 restaurant within walking distance. If I paid the normal rate it would be acceptable. Charged me $2.50 per night for a "safe" charge which I never asked for and didn't use. Didn't notice charge until much later. more

Good Stay.

Our family stayed at the Deadwood Comfort Inn and enjoyed our stay. Easy check in/out with good service. Clean rooms. Ample parking. Basic continental breakfast included. There is a small amusement park - mini golf adjoining the Comfort Inn. A hit for families with kids at good prices. Also a small and VERY COLD indoor pool to use. Only negatives... more

This was our fourth visit to this hotel in five years. We LOVE staying here. The hotel is pretty expensive to stay at. All of Deadwood's hotels are expensive, but I think this is the most expensive. Traveling with children, it's the best choice for us because they have a small amusement park and arcade attached. Most of the staff... more

I had read all of the reviews and decided this would be an above average choice experience. I paid $62 for a suite, which is a good value due to being VERY off season. The whole hotel seemed to be almost shut down. Check in was very efficient and friendly. The room was a standard "suite" for choice properties. The... more

We went on a 3-week, 5000-mile vacation and this was the best motel we stayed at. The building looks like new, our room was very large, the bathroom was large, everything was very clean, and the continental breakfast was great. We paid $14 less than they wanted at a nearby motel that didn't look half as nice. Great room, good... more

Nice, clean, large rooms. Continental breakfast included great, hot waffles and hard boiled eggs. For a continental breakfast, not bad. We weren't in town for the gambling, so the lobby slots and SMOKE had no interest to us, but it's difficult to get away from. The local trolley comes right to the front door every 20 minutes for $1 one... more

This hotel is fairly new. It's just a few miles from downtown Deadwood. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast included make your own waffles, bagels, pastry, toast, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, orange and apple juices, coffee, tea. Arrive early as it gets crowded. Attached to the hotel is Gulches of Fun Park with go-karts, mini golf, kiddie rides. We... more

Stayed here for the second time and was just as happy as the first time. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. The rooms were spotless once again. It is a terrific place to stay. Trolley ride into town is wonderful. No need to drive and park! Excellent value for the room price. more

Comfort Inn in Deadwood is a good hotel to stay in if you have family with you, especially children. There is an amusement park and arcade on the property. For the adults there is the small casino off the lobby. We took a tour of the town and this hotel was probably the best. Overall we weren't impressed with the... more
