We stayed with Marilyn & Al in October in their upstairs loft. They made us so welcome, beautiful accomodation and the homemade breakfast was really really good. Whilst dining the squirrels and chipmunks are feeding on the deck outside,we stayed inside as it was snowing ,definitely not the weather for outside dining! The setting of the house is amazing,we saw a fox... more

A very central location for the Black Hills, yet nestled back far enough from the highway to provide a quiet nature experience. Very nice home with very friendly owners. The breakfasts were excellent. more

Our hosts Marilyn and Al spoiled us with delicious home-baked treats in our beautiful and superbly clean hewn-log suite. We appreciate a healthful menu, and each morning Marilyn presented a different delicious, colorful and nutritious gourmet breakfast using her home-ground grains and fresh ingredients. How fun it was to eat and watch friendly squirrels and chipmunks daily on their downstairs... more

Our trip's purpose was to ride most of the Mickelson Trail, which is a 100+ mile off-road route through the heart of the Black Hills. The logistics were going to be complicated, but hosts Marilyn and Al really helped us out. The B&B itself is very very nice. Breakfasts were big enough to fuel many hours of riding, and the... more

We've been to a few B&B's before so our expectations were somewhat low. This one however was very special. The owners really take the extra steps to make you feel comfortable and welcomed while respecting your privacy. The breakfast was abundant, delicious and made with extra care. If you aren't sure what to do in the BlackHills or need more... more

I can't say enough good about this B&B. Al and Marilyn are wonderful hosts. Marilyn's breakfasts were to die for. We were there for 8 days and every day was something new and delicious for breakfast. We stayed in the Knotty Pine room. Large bedroom with a sitting area. The bath had a large room with a sink and jacuzzi... more

Al and Marilyn run a wonderful place to relax and restore yourself after a busy day of sight seeing in the Black Hills. The Bed and Breakfast has lodging for only 2 couples at a time (adults only). It is set on 7 1/2 acres of pines and other flora. A variety of birds, squirrels, chipmunks, deer and other wildlife... more
