We've only stayed in the area once, but after reading other reviews, we picked this place. I'm quite happy with our choice. The hosts are cheerful and flexible. The breakfast was way above average. The room we chose was one of the more expensive which gave us our own hot tub. The place was full the two days we were... more

Here just two nights. We were cruising south on the hwy to Hill City and saw the sign for Coyote Blues - Whoa! It's about a mile off the road, so very quiet, but best if you arrive before dark on your first day. Had one of the Pine Rooms – quite small, but sufficient. Great breakfast on the deck... more

We stayed 2 nights. Our first night was supposed to be in two rooms the Antique and Celtic. We had 4 adults in our party. We booked the Antique in early July and got a confirmation via email. We booked the Celtic in mid July and did not receive an email, but thought since we already booked the Antique earlier... more

My husband and I recently spent three nights at Coyote Blues Village while we traveled to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and Badlands. You couldn't ask for a more convenient location. We stayed here because I didn't want to stay in a regular hotel, or in Rapid City. We were thrilled we made this decision. We stayed in the Turkish... more

Booked on the strength of reviews here and were not disappointed. We had only one of the very small rooms, but it was fine for our single night stay. It's a beautiful home, would have liked to have spent more time exploring area. Great breakfast in the am, and the place was bustling - maybe 15? guests. All friendly and... more

Relaxation, great breakfast & swiss hospitality in the Black Hills. Down an unpaved road, across the meadow and up the hill is the CBVB&B. All the good reviews are true. We stayed 2 nites in the Lakota room which is a good sized room with a large, powerful spa tub, and an amazing comfortable bed. It was a tough choice... more

When we first starting planning our vacation to the Black Hills our first instinct was to start looking at hotels/motels in the area. They are of course plentiful in this area and being that we were still a few weeks shy of Sturgis availability was good and prices quire reasonable. Somewhere, somehow, we stumbled on Coyote Blues Village Bed &... more

We loved our stay at Coyote Blues! The house is set way back from the road, and provides plenty of nooks and crannies in which to steal privacy, or to have a chat with the other guests. We stayed here in the Mediterranean Room with our two boys, ages 9 and 11. No pool, but a private hot tub on... more

If you're looking for the typical "hotel amenities" experience, don't stay at the Coyote Blues Village. But if you want a charming home away from home that's tucked back into nature's beauty, then book your room at this B&B. We stayed in one of the Pine View rooms which are the more basic rooms. The room is small (and we... more
