The hotel was reasonably clean, but very depressing. The "fitness area" was a tiny corner at the top of the stairs with an old weight bench and treadmill and a dying plant. We try our level best to provide luxury for less. It is hard to satisfy every human being on this face of earth. However we regeret we could not live up to your expectations and Real Life Red Carpet Treatment could not impress you. Our other Guests Love It and think otherwise. Sir, your rate was knocked down to half and yes you were provided with Fridge/Micro adjoining room with four clean beds. Front desk lady went extra mile to buy your family Subway Sandwichs and treated you like Royalty on your return trip. this place claimed to have an excercise area, corner of a room about 5 ft. by 5 ft. was to have fridges and microwaves, not in my room. very noisy and they would not go and quiet down a guest with there tv blaring all night long. price was fine but service was terrible. Thank you for your review. Would like to refresh your memory that you were advised at check in that room cleaning would be on Mon and Fri for weekly stay on special rate 29.99. You Agreed! For the size of property and totally never used fitness area by our guests for last five years we dicided not to eliminate fitness...
Just a heads up, my wife and I stayed at this hotel last night and woke up to finds ants crawling around the base of the bathtub and all over the floor. Not just a few ants, a lot of ants. We were there with our two-month old baby and felt this was not a safe place for our baby.... more
I wasn't expecting much for my money, just hoped it was clean. Wow! I was surprised. This place is very clean, nice size, comfortable bed, quiet, and there's a refrigerator and microwave in the standard room! There's also a treadmill, pool table, and free continental breakfast. Many Holiday Inns and those in that category, don't measure up to this quality.... more
My experience here was a nice one. Family run hotel, always asking if there was anything I needed, very pleseant people. Comfortable place to stay and very safe. I would stay again anytime. more
Was a decent place at a decent price. Don't be afraid to stay the night here. Nice family run hotel. A little bit out of the way if you want to visit downtown Sioux City, but if you are staying here, you have a car anyways right? more
