I'm staying here in the couple of days before July 4. Rates were $134 for July 1 and $174 for July 2, which was actually "competitive", but ridiculous for what you get. I tried priceline for a couple of days before booking this, but quit when my bidding got to $100 with no accepted bid. As others have said, this... more

I booked this via Priceline; was the hotel I expected to get (since this appears to be the only 3-star hotel in Rapid City). The earlier reviews of the hotel failed to mention that the Radisson is next to TRAIN TRACKS! I was lucky enough to get a room on the opposite side away from tracks - I could still... more

I stayed here for a few days while I was working at the Rush Arena. The location of this hotel is great, right downtown with a lot of restaurants nearby. The sleep number beds that are advertised were nothing special at all. I think the bed in my room was very old, because I would switch the numbers and feel... more

We were traveling through the area to see Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands. When planning the trip, I first looked for places closer to Mt. Rushmore and the Black Hills. Scary! All of those places really looked like dumps. When choosing hotels, I really need a place that is clean and has reasonably updated décor (no Victorian rooms or cabins... more

This hotel is in major need of a face lift. We had the feeling that this was the forgotten ugly stepsister of the Raddison chain. We booked a room on the private President's Floor. It looked as if it had last been remodeled in 1976. Perhaps for the Bicentennial??? The place was very clean however and the gym equipment was... more

Got a special medical rate. For the same prices as most of the lower hotels in Rapid it was very good. The lobby and restaurant staff was very helpful. On site parking, pool, hot tub, and shuttle. Clean rooms and good (but overpriced) restaurant. more

We stayed at this hotel in the beginning of September when we were on a Caravan tour and decided to stay an extra day on our own before the tour started. We found this hotel very friendly and clean. They helped to arrange a car rental for us at a reasonable price (and we could just leave the keys at... more

We took a tour of many cities and this was our first hotel on our 8 day tour. This was our favorite. I little older and, yes some of the sleep comfort beds were a little off, however, we were greeted at the door with cookies, punch and coffee. Everyone there was polite. The food was very good. We got... more

We stayed here in Aug of 07. The hotel was ok. A good location but it's an older hotel that was showing it's age. We had sleep number beds in our room and I would never have one again. Ours lost firmness during the night and got very uncomfortable. The room was clean but was showing some wear. It would... more

We chose to take a weekend trip and stay at the Rapid City Radisson for one reason...to test out the Sleep Number beds they boast about. They have a choice of either two double bed rooms or one king bed. Because we have two young children, we chose the two doubles. We are considering a purchase of a Sleep Number... more
