Stayed here for 4 days and our experience was great. We also had family stay here the same time that came for my son's wedding and they enjoyed their stay too. Management was nice and helpful. Came in intending to stay in Deadwood after seeing Mt. Rushmore and like previous commentator were too over-priced. Howard Johnson was reasonably priced. Found out that the place was clean, but in need of some rehab. more

The worst hotel we ever stayed in. It was more than dirty, it was filthy, the sheets were stained there was a stain on the bed, the towels were like sandpaper and the bathrooms were unkept . The hotel is run down. Suggest that it be avoided at all costs. more

This motel is getting pretty run down. Our room was not clean at all. I had to clean the bathroom before using. There were hairs in the bed sheets and floors were not vacuumed. They said it was all smoke free motel, but it smelled of smoke. It is just a basic motel, nothing fancy. Needs to be updated! more

After staying at this hotel, I'm very suprised to read the other reviews. It was very clean and we found the staff very helpful and friendly. The location was very convenient and the pool area was very fun. We really enjoyed our stay there and definitely recommend it. more

I cannot believe that this motel is even listed anywhere. My room was filthy. I found hair in the sink and a dead mouse under the bed.
