Recently we (sister-in-law & I) had an opportunity to take a mini-vacation. Sister-in-law had just spent over 30+ days/nights at Days Inn in Billings, MT with such caring employees we decided on staying Days Inn on our mini-vacation. Walked in to the hotel and got a room. Checkin was very quick. The room itself was nice, comfy beds, hot water with massage head and flat screen tv. The cable wasnt the best and it was snowy (not sure if cable or tv problems). You could see it ok, but it just took away from having the flat screen.... more

Made reservations for a 2 day stop months ago, checked to make sure that they accepted pets. Went to check in and there were signs that state that they would charge $50 if pet was left in room alone...not if the dog created a problem, simply that they would charge you if you left the dog in the room alone.... more

This is an excellent value stay. No frills, but clean and cheap. We stay in Sturgis but spend our time in Deadwood. Good, good value. We haven't been disappointed from the value side of the stay. more

This motel is the worst motel I have ever stayed in. We were expecting a great motel to have a great weekend. It was South Dakota State Girls Basketball and the games were taking place in Spearfish. We were expecting a motel that would be nice and make our weekend remembering, well let me tell you what it certainly was... more

We were driving cross country with our pet and stopped in Sturgis, SD very late at night and needed to sleep before continuing. We arrived at the Days Inn after trying 2 other pet friendlies that were booked. So, at 4am we get to the lobby and the young desk clerk has some buddies hanging out. We were a bit... more

Well, if you needed to be in the area you can survive here, but only if you must. $63 a night is reasonable. Breakfast was very sparse- only toast, donuts, cereal. BJ’s diner next door served up a plentiful breakfast for a reasonable price and Burger King was next door. The noise here is unbelievable. You can hear every move... more

We stayed here overnight because it was on the way to Spearfish Canyon where we were headed the next day, and hotels seem to be really scarce in this area. We've had some varied experiences with Days Inns -- from great (in the Carolinas) to below horrible (in Brunswick, GA and Tybee Island, GA)....and we really try to avoid them.... more
