My extended family rented the entire 5 suite hotel over the Fourth of July for a family reunion. This is a restored bank building on the main street in Yankton. There are 5 very large suites, two with two bedrooms. The owners have done a nice job of retrofitting bathrooms and other conveniences in an old building. The beds were very comfortable and I slept great. The price was great for all the space we got. There are lots of nice extras, like flat screen TVs, movies in the room, working fireplaces, and small kitchenettes.

The only complaints I have could easily be fixed by the management. There wasn't any dishwashing soap in the kitchenettes so we couldn't wash our dishes and they sat in the sink for the rest of our 3 day stay. The maid service is patchy. Some of us got fresh towels every day but others had to use the same ones for the whole stay. Not all the lights or window blinds worked.

Overall, however, I liked our stay very much and would stay again. more
