My husband and I scheduled a trip to see our family in Clarksville. Since Clarksville is an hour north of Nashville, it wasn't convenient to stay in Nashville. I started my search for a nice hotel in the Clarksville are and came up with the usual low end chains. Knowing that this was going to be a special weekend for us, I couldn't imagine staying at the budget motels. I next researched Inns and Bed and Breakfasts. The Magnolia House was the only B and B I could locate. The website was helpful and immediately sealed my confidence. It's location was perfect for our short weekend. We arrived on a Friday evening, and were greeted by Margaret and her friends. The downstairs Palm Suite was perfect for our weekend. It allowed us privacy and a home away from home with our daughter. Margaret opened her home to us and our daughter was very comfortable during her first B and B stay. The home was modern yet kept its old world charm.
