We stayed in a cabin in Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park this past week and it was wonderful! The cabins are very spacious, quiet, and very clean. Everything you need is provided including linens, dinnerware, microwave, fridge and even a toaster. The sofa by the gas fireplace was a perfect place to sit and enjoy reading a good book. When we checked in we knew that we were in the right place. The staff each and everyone of them was very nice and gave alot of information. They also had maps to every where you wanted to go on the park. It was WONDERFUL. more

Most of my investigation of local history dealt primarily with Appalachian culture, I just assumed that they got off the mountain and here we are. What a wonderful camp ground in the State Park. Reasonable rates, water and electric hook ups or primitive camp sites, hot showers in heated restrooms. Had a great weekend at Nathan Bedford State Park. Everything was furnished in the cabins, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishes, pots &pans,towels, sheets, blankets, firewood, full size refrigerator, stove, etc. The view was spectacular! more
