We traveled to Lynchburg to tour the Jack Daniels distillery and enjoy the surrouding countryside. We contacted this B&B in advance and stayed one night at this beautiful and historic home. Hard to over-praise this one-- John and Paula have combined their outgoing personalities with a fine old historic house in a quiet rural setting. A little hard to get to and well worth the effort. We travel from California to the Lynchburg/Nashville area about every year or two. In September we will be staying at Dr Cox for the fifth time. Every stay exceeds our expectations. We were pleasantly suprised by this nice place in the middle of the country. It is near the historic town of Lynchburg, a distillery which can be toured, and a three-screen drive-in movie theatre showing first run movies.
