I stayed at this hotel while house-hunting in Knoxville. Thus, I really just needed a place to stay, rather than a really fancy hotel with all the bells and whistles. This hotel has really deterioted since it remodeled 4 yrs ago. We stayed in this hotel each year for the last 4 years and found it to be satisfactory and convenient to shopping, eating and Univ of Tenn.. But this time around, it was a huge disappointment. Nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Fridge and Micro in room. Just very good amenities for the price. Close to the interstate. Easy access to sights and shopping from this hotel. No restaurants on the premises, but many nearby. If you're going to Gatlinburg from this hotel on a day-trip, it takes about an hour to get there in light traffic. Knoxville... more
