Room was very clean and tidy, I noticed nothing amiss. While this is not a complaint, note that if you stay here you might bring your own clothes iron as they are not provided in the room. HOWEVER, I requested one at the front desk and, since they were all checked out, the clerk said they'd get one to me... more

This hotel is located convieniently for travellers driving through Knoxville on I-75/40. It is located around numerous restaurants. Location may be the best thing about the place. We booked online on a 3rd party booking site, which wasn't a problem. The Room: The hotel room was pretty standard. However, our toilet clogged on the first flush. The front office provided... more

This was the prettiest, most convenient and friendliest motel on our trip. We had stayed at 3 other Red Roof Inns and they were all very comfortable but this one in Knoxville definately beat them all. I was impressed. more

There were about 20 friends and family members from all over looking for an reasonable (read cheap) place to spend the night after a wedding. I had not stayed at a Red Roof since the 70s and shuddered at the thought. I was expecting a smelly, worn, outdated room with peeling paint and bugs. What we got was a VERY... more

Red Roof Inn Knoxville University of Tennessee is Knoxville's best kept secret! Upon check-in, you are waited on by some really nice ladies. These ladies are local to the area and definitely speak English. The rooms are clean and have what you need at a very reasonable price! Red Roofs are basic, but have been redesigned in the last couple... more

I stayed at this hotel on a Sunday night and everything was pretty good. The staff was very friendly, helping in any way they could. The room itself was very clean. I recommend this hotel for a quick overnight stay. The only reason I don't recommend it for longer is because it's a no frills kind of place, no extras... more

I live in Knoxville & I find it so funny to see #1 reviews of hotels in my town to be for hotels located in the "bad part" of town. This hotel is on the better side. I have stayed at this hotel a few times. They recently remodeled it & I was very impressed with the new interiors. You... more

My daughter and I travelled from New England to Texas and reserved 3 hotels from 3 different hotel chains along the way - all in the same hotel class and for the same basic price. When searching online for hotels, my biggest concerns were cleanliness, safety, close to the interstate, and a good value (I wasn't looking for the cheapest... more

I stayed here recently on the way to NJ from Arkansas. Cedar Bluff itself is very convenient to the interstate. However, the Red Roof Inn was disappointing. Although the maid had done her best, the room was tiny, the carpet was soiled and the door, lock and deadbolt seemed very flimsy. I did not feel particularly safe and wedged a... more

this was our last hotel on a roadtrip from Ontario to Florida and back again. it was above average compared to others we stayed in. the room was clean. the beds were fairly comfortable. it's probably intended for business travellers but it was fine for us. more
