Yet again we have availed of Kee's Sunday special; carvery lunch and bed & breakfast for 49Euro per person. Great value, pleasant welcome and excellent friendly service in carvery. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, and breakfast was more than ample. There was a lovely fire blazing in the lounge bar, the perfect place to relax after a walk... more

Excellent hotel - very friendly staff, superb food, and clean and spacious rooms. Leisure facilities are great, and there is plenty to see and do in the area. Will definitely return. more

The hotel itself was very nice and the food excellent. Staff were great. The garden/patio area lovely to sit in. Although it was nice to have the pool if you wanted to swim lengths it was difficult as one end was far too shallow. Everything said, my husband and friends decided this would be the hotel we would go back... more

We found the hotel very clean, friendly, and the food was great. We stayed in a superior room, it felt really luxurious. Would recommend pastries and coffee in the massive conservatory, yum. more

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and 4 small children for 2 nights and we all had a brilliant time. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us even though the hotel was fully booked on our first night. May need updated in places but overall the room was clean and tidy and the... more

On arrival was very impressed with the building however the room was not so great. Smelt very musty and was extremely dusty. Staff were ok, not very friendly though. Had dinner in the hotel which was good quality so would recommend that. Surrounding area had nothing in it so you are pretty much stuck with hotel bar and restaurant which... more

There are only two hotels in Stranolar so your choices are limited. I did not check the other hotel out, but there were some really nice ones in Letterkinney just 20 minutes away. Stranolar /Ballyboofey is a very quiet town. A few of us went to a Pub on a Thurs. evening and had the whole place to ourselves except... more

Me and my husband went here for a break as we have two very young children and we needed a break. The staff were very friendly. The only downfall was it was a bit away from the town but it was only €5 in taxi. We paid €75 per room per night which was quite good. I would recommend this... more
