I think some of the comments are a little harsh about this hotel, it is not the best hotel I have been in but certainly is not the worst. I can't understand why people complain about the noise of traffic. We are in a city, what else would you expect to hear. I was upgraded to one of the Work... more

We stayed here over Christmas of 2007 by default as many other places were closed for the holiday. The location is not great, but our stay was about what we expected. Our room was comfortable, although some of the furniture could have used a deep cleaning. The staff seemed to have no knowledge of the city at all. The bus... more

We stayed here for 2 nights and were pleased with the experience. We had a bad time at their airport hotel and so this was a relief. Although we arrived before check in time, the cheerful receptionist allocated us a room. The room itself was what you would expect from this type of hotel - was clean had a comfortable... more

The other reviews of the Days Hotel Rathmines are pretty harsh. I considered this hotel an upgrade from a hostel, and was pleased with my decision. The rooms do smell a little stale, and the dance club's music can be heard at night, but neither was much of a nuisance. The room was comfortable and clean. The surrounding area (while... more

Stayed here for one night, wouldn't have liked to for more. Room looked out onto the front, very noisy with the traffic. Breakfast was OK, but I had to go up in a chairlift, which broke when I tried to use it to get back to my room. Had to be escorted via the basement car park to the other... more

My boyfriend and I booked to stay for 4 nights over a long weekend at the Days Hotel, just outside the city centre area because it was marginally cheaper than some of central hotels. It was still £350 for two however. We were totally disappointed with almost everything about the hotel, other than the mostly very polite and well meaning... more

Having traveled through the west coast of Ireland for most of our trip, we ended our stay with a night in Dublin. What a disappointment! The staff were ridiculously unpleasant and unhelpful. Took them over 30 minutes to locate a room for us (our reservation was booked 6 weeks in advance). When we returned to the hotel that night, we... more

Okay stay for a few nights. Day staff was TERRIBLE... rude & surly woman at the front desk could not be bothered, but the night staff was very pleasant and polite. Nightclub next door is a bit of a bother, but not a deal-breaker. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we slept just fine. Location is okay... a... more

Stayed here midweek recently. Good location, easy access to city centre. Room price was good value, but room could do with at little renovation or makeover, cover cracks in the wall, fix leaking shower etc. more

Good location for tourists in vibrant part of South Dublin City. Underground carpark is handy. No restaurant. you have to go to the adjacent bar/restaurant to eat. Rooms are spacious. Only downside is that you have to pay for the internet access in your room. A real bummer for business travellers who generally expect free Wi-Fi access in most hotels. more
