I was in Ireland with family in July, 2011 and stayed with Maura and Michael McNamara, in County Galway. First Clarinbridge is on the way to Galway from the south and to the Burren and the Coast from the north and this B & B is very convenient.More important though are the people. Likely, you will not receive a better... More

Maura was very welcoming, considerate of our 6 month baby and helpful with directions for beach walks or restaurants for dinner. Room was cosy with the 3rd single bed in but fine for us 2 and a baby. Breakfast was fab; my poached eggs were the best all week! A little away from Clarenbridge town (walk took about 15 mins... More

Lovely accommodations! If you want to step into Irish Tradition, this Bread and Breakfast will fit your bill. Good, clean rooms with fine bath facilities. The breakfast is fresh and delicious, done to your order. Maura McNamara operates with experience and Irish charm. I enjoyed my brief stay. I hope they will have a vacancy for me again. Stayed here for a night in mid- July. It was a very peaceful area with a lovely walk down to an inlet of Galway Bay just down the road. The rooms were great...spacious, very clean and comfortable and we were able to use the WiFi no problem! Máire was a fantastic hostess, so welcoming and willing to help us plan... More

Clarenbridge is not a place where you're likely to spend a lot of time, and so this B&B is best for staying one night or using it as a base for exploring the region, but it's a clean, quiet, well-run B&B. Our room had two sinks, which was handy. Breakfast was quite good, though not exceptional. It was well worth... More

Maura could not do more to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was very good with a big choice of cooked breakfast options. More

Maura McNamara gave us a very warm welcome to Springlawn. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. In the morning Maura had a wide variety of food available for breakfast. Maura was very attentive and made us feel most welcome. I would highly recommend this guest house. More
