We chose this B&B after reading previous reviews and were not disappointed. It is truly a magnificient location and the heart of Irish Ireland. If you are as lucky as us with the weather, the sunset is a must see. This is Ireland as you imagine. Caitlin was warm and hospitable. She recommended us the hotel in Carna for your... More

What a magnificient location and such lovely genuine hosts Catalin and her husband Michael are. We arrived in difficult circumastances for a family bereavement, but from the moment we arrived there was such genuine warmth and kindness, it was quite overwhelming. Nothing was too much trouble and during our 5 night stay we really felt at home. If you are... More

Americans like us love Ireland because the people are warm, gentle, and hospitable in a way that we do not much encounter in our own country, or elsewhere. Caitlin exemplifies this Irish gentleness; she's thoughtful, considerate and kind as well as hospitable. The location of the Atlantic Wave is magnificent: It is at the end of a lane on the... More

Caitlin made us feel very welcome. It was a wonderful home to visit in a lovely location. My only regret is that we didn't plan to stay there longer. We planned to 'drop in' for a night, and it would have been nice place to just sit and enjoy.

Stayed here for a few days in August and had a fantastic time. Caitín and her family made us feel very welcome and nothing was ever any trouble. It's a lovely part of Connemara full of empty beaches so well worth spending some time exploring. In short - highly recommended!

My girlfriend, her elderly mother and myself stayed here for two nights. It's a lovely home in a very beautifull location. Caitlin and her husband do things right. Very welcoming, taking time to talk to us, spotless rooms and a supurb full irish breakfast. For 30 euros a night I have to say this was the best value I've ever... More

We spent the night of 16-17 July 2012 at Atlantic Wave and really enjoyed the stay. Great full Irish breakfast! and Caitlin, our hostess made us very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for her to make us comfortable. We did not even notice that it was raining on and off during most of our stay. I was very grateful... More
