Our unexpected arrival at Clareview found Brenda, our hostess, in the next town shopping. When she was called to ask if she had any rooms available for that night, she hurried home to welcome us with tea. Clareview B&B, located between Ardrahan and Kinvarra, is lovely: an old two-story farmhouse with flowers along the circle drive and surrounded by fields... more

Brenda, the hostess of Clareview House, is wonderful. And we needed all her wonderful! Our flight arrived at Shannon at 6am and we arrived at Clareview at 8am. We had warned her ahead of time and Brenda had no problem with our early arrival. My mother and I took a much needed nap and then headed out for a day... more

Brenda is a perfect hostess. Upon our late afternoon arrival she greeted us with yummy freshly baked cake and coffee in the lovely conservatory. Our room was olde world but very comfy with a great bed and shower and the window overlooked their working farm. There was no TV in the room but that was not an issue to us.... more

Clareview House is a lovely property; a nice 5-6 room B&B, set back off the road, in a rural setting a few kilometers to the nearest village of Kinvarra, in county Galway. Hosts Brenda and Michael are very warm and attentive. We stayed there a total of 6 nights. Originally booked for 4, we liked it so much we came... more

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely and the breakfasts excellent. There are so many places to explore. Kinvara itself is lovely, try Tullys bar for great Guinness, music and a welcoming host, Paul. It is easy to get to Connemara which is breathtaking: do the Sky road and Kylemore Abbey. And... more

My husband and I took his parents and 2 aunts to Ireland for our first visit there. People had recommended that we stayed in bed and breakfasts, which I was honestly scared to try, having always stayed in hotels. We now could just kick ourselves for having not tried bed and breakfasts sooner. The Clareview House was our very first... more

Clareview House is located on a farm a few miles outside of Kinvara. Brenda is a very sweet woman who is extremely friendly and helpful; we enjoyed chatting with her very much. However, our accomodations were somewhat disappointing. While our room was clean and the bedding adequate, the decor was quite out of date and the bathroom in need of... more

Clareview House is a few miles outside of Kenvara, a lovely little village on the coast. It is not far from the Burrens or the Clifts of Mohr and reasonably close to Galway. Brenda, the hostess, is a lively lady who is friendly and interested in her guests comfort. She tends to 6 rooms that are large and adequately furnished.... more

Three of us stayed at this B & B at the end of July. It's located outside of Kinvara, on a working farm. Brenda and Michael are consummate hosts. We arrived all frazzled after driving from Newgrange, and Brenda sat us down in the conservatory with tea and fresh baked scones, even though it was early evening. She offered us... more
