This was the third b&b we had booked on our whirlwind 6 night tour of Ireland; the other two were wonderful. We had been driving and sightseeing all day from the ring or Kerry, through Kilarney and Limerick and the burren. We were tired. It was dark, cold and raining. We pulled into the parking area of Ard Mhuire around... more

My usual bed and Breakfast was booked so I chose this particular location in part due to trip advisor reviews. I found this establishment to be nothing short of the highest standards. Now forgive me in Ireland for being American(and therefore fussy), but quality and price should not be mutually exclusive. When I book a bed and breakfast I expect... more

We did a whistle stop tour of Ireland, taking in 7 cities & towns over 8 days. We stayed in guesthouses or B&B's throughout, I do a lot of business travel and didn't want my vacation to have any resemblence of these! We arrived into Galway and phoned the proprietor, Padraic, to get some directions. It turns out we were... more

Ard Mhuire B&B is located in a quiet section of Salthill, which is an upscale neighborhood of Galway. Teresa McDonagh is a wonderful hostess and her homemade scones are to die for!! The rroms are lovely, clean, and well appointed. Believe me....you'll love your stay al Ard Mhuire. more

We left Hurlers Cross, and went on to Galway, and after 2 million round-abouts, got to where we thought our B&B was at Marless House, run by a Mary Geraghty, Salthill, Threadneedle Road, Galway. Her husband said they had not received our information, and even thought I knew they did, and this aggravated me to the bone, they did find... more

The trip adviser review was that of a excellent standard, and rooms of the highest condition, however this was not the case. The bathroom was dirty and the tiles around the bath were in need of replacing, the water pressure was very poor. the adjoining room was cluttered and worn. Walking distances to resturants and public houses have been misquoted.... more

H.Walker. Co.Down. N.Ireland. We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Ard Mhuire Bed and Breakfast in Salthill, Galway. We enjoyed everything about this B&B.The rooms were spotless, the breakfasts were absolutely beautiful and Theresa and her family looked after us as if we were old friends. I would totally recommend this B&B to anyone who enjoys... more

This is a comfortable, clean and very welcoming home. Pat and Teresa McDonagh the hosts of this B&B are very helpful. Resturants are within walking distance and you a 2 blocks from Galway Bay. Their full Irish breakfast is wonderful, but they are glad to fix other items if you have been irished out... more
