My husband and I recently returned from a 16 day trip to Ireland. My only regret is that we couldn't stay at this B&B longer than one night. It was just wonderful! Mary was a gem. The welcoming tea and cookies on a rainy day after our long journey to Salthill was the perfect touch. Actually, this was our next-to-final... more

All of Ireland's B&Bs should be as good as this one. Beautiful home, wonderful food and a hostess that went out of her way to make sure your stay was special. Tea/coffee was offered each evening when you got home. Breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. Advice and directions to areas of interest added to the wonderful feel of visiting a... more

I spent an extended vacation in Galway (March - April) this year, and loved it. It is a culturally rich city, with many attractions, as well as a beautiful area of Ireland. This area of Ireland has everything - mountains, ocean, the Burren (a rugged, desolate but beautiful limestone landscape), and the rolling fields lined with stone walls that you... more

We just returned from a 2 week vacation in Ireland that included a one night stay at the Marless House in Salt Hill, Galway. Mary and Tom were great hosts! They were personable and very helpful with suggestions for dinner and most importantly places for tradional music in the town of Galway. We especially enjoyed Tig Coili. Marless House is... more

Our two night stay (four of us in two rooms) over the wet and windy weekend of 22nd August at Marless House was very pleasant; our good sized rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable, there is free WiFi, a good range of TV stations to choose from and ample off road parking. Hosts Mary and Tom... more

We stayed for only one night in July - but had a terrific stay. Exactly what we had hoped for! We arrived HOURS late...but Mary and Tom were wonderful and welcoming. Had a delicious breakfast (best we had on our two week holiday). They took the time to interact kindly with all the guests; made us all feel so welcome.... more

This is a wonderful place to stay in Salthill and would highly recommend it. I stayed here with my partner and my grandparents for a weekend and we loved it. The rooms are beautiful, the hostess Mary is a star, (who thoughtfully gave my grandparents a ground floor room) and the breakfast you won't find anywhere else like it with... more

We spent three nights at Marless House and were impressed with its furnishings, comfortable rooms, friendly welcome, and delicious breakfast. The location is away from the center of Galway, but is very close to the beach and promenade in Salthill and a 10 minute drive to downtown Galway. more

The pictures of the Marless House dining room and garden were my impetus for booking and I was not disappointed. What pictures don't tell is how thoughtful, caring and informative the hostess, Mary Geraghty is. Marless was our first stop after arriving from Shannon with a rental car whose steering was going bad. After getting us tucked away in our... more
