Have just come back from a one night stay in this fantastic country house. It was an anniversary present from my boyfriend and it was wonderful. The drive through the town isnt very enticing nor the drive to the house but as soon as you arrive at the gates of the house a calm and tranquile feeling comes over you. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive and really make the stay a memorable experience. Our room was decorated in old style country manor fashion and we had a four poster bed every girls dream come through!!! We had a suite which meant we got two couches which could double as sofa beds. The bathroom was huge with a big old free standing bath, high ceilings and beautiful views of the country.
The food was exceptional and service again outstanding.
I would recommend this house to anyone and especaily those who havent had the country house experience before. The was one of the best places I have ever stayed in and will always remember this anniversary. more
