Aisling Guest House was the 4th B and B we visited during our 9 day stay in Ireland and it was definitely below average compared to the other 3. Rod was a wonderful host but the facilities left much to be desired. There were many little things that could be easily corrected and would make a big difference. For example:... More

I stayed here for one Saturday night towards the end of February. I had got a price of €40 for one night including breakfast for 1 person. Not a bad price it has to be said. I arrived at the pre arranged time of approx. 4pm. I noticed the front door locked so rang the bell. There was no answer.... More

Little shocked and don't understand review below. "a disgrave".. A group of 9 of us stayed at the guest house while heading to a wedding at Ballymagarvey. The house is about 10 minutes drive but there was very little any closer so was perfect for us. We all arrived in together like a mob and were greeted by friendly lady,... More

We stayed at this B&B while attending a wedding in Ballymagarvey Village, which is over a 15 minute drive away on the other side of Ashbourne. This is the worst B&B we have ever stayed in. Most B&B's in Ireland are ok and never amazing but at least clean -this place is filthy! We had the misfortune of being brought... More

We stayed at this hotel in August 2012. We had a family room, number 0. At first sight the room looked welcoming and clean, however on closer inspection we found dust all over the floor and walls and cobwebs on the ceiling containing big spiders. Also the sheets and pillows had stains, hairs and dust on both beds. We believe that... More

We have only positive things to say about our stay. We may book another visit in November 2012. The owner was very accommodating and helpful, the room was perfect for us, and the breakfasts were great.

I honestly believe that all of the excellent reviews this b&b is getting are not genuine. The rooms are dirty, owner is pig ignorant and breakfast is beyond disgusting. The only plus is the location (15 min drive to tayto park) but there are plenty of other places to stay in the area. Would never ever stay here again.

What a great guest house in every way! It's incredibly comfortable all round. The best sleep I've had in a hotel/guest house for a long time. Genuinely helpful and friendly, well trained staff.I could have spent another week.Perfect place to eat the best traditional Irish breakfast. Haven't found a better guest house near Dublin yet and I travel there frequently.

I stayed there with my wife the other day. A dreadfiul experience. We were at a wedding at Ballymagarvey village which the B&B website would lead you to believe is just around the corner. In fact it is just under 20 km away. The owner also lead us to believe that transport would be provided to the wedding hotel but... More
