stayed in this hotel whilst attending a function nearby. hotel had all the usual things you would expect. staff were very friendly and helpful. bar was noisy , seemed like a place locals would go to drink as opposed to residents. i didnt mind that , seemed lively and good fun although i didnt stay. breakfast was good. would recommend... more

This is the loudest hotel I have ever come across, during the day the TV's in the bar are on full blast with soccer and at night there is a night club and 'Live' (should read LOUD!) music in the bar that goes on well past 1.30am. i had the misfortune of staying at this hotel in the last weekend in May 2009 (last weekend). It is actually a really well refurbished place but has a night club attached to it - our room was on the first floor and the disco may as well been there too... on Friday night the music stopped at 2.15am and... more

During a recent business trip to Ashbourne County Meath, I stayed at recently refurbished Residents Hotel. The conference facilities were excellent.
