We are just back from a pleasant weekend at the Ashbourne Hotel,staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room could do with a freshen up but was clean,bed very comfy and very good shower.Foodhall,where we had breakfast was very small but food good! Overall a good stay if you get a good deal!

Location wise, it's fantastic. Plenty of pubs to wet your whistle. Hotel is clean and tidy. Bar staff and reception staff are great. Overall, it's not advertised as 5 star so why do some people expect it? Enjoyable stay overall
