I stayed in the Beach Hotel, rooms were ghastly, and leisure club creaking. The (Polish) staff had leased the hotel off the previous owners (I stayed there regularly in 2008, food was horrendous, even the coffee was undrinkable) and it was obvious that the place was a sinking ship. The poor naive crew who have it leased now are doing... more

I am probably the most forgiving traveling out there and can over look many things, after all your on vacation and suppose to have fun. I've never written a review good or bad, but always mean to but something always comes up. In this circumstance i have put everything on hold so that no other person will have to have... more

We were a family of two aduls and one child and we stayed here for two nights in mid august. I lived in the area and spent a lot of time in Mullaghmore as a child, (over 30 years ago). Right now Mullaghmore is a dead end - meaning the only reason one takes the road is to go to... more

Have visisted this hotel 8~10 times over the last couple of years. Always enjoyed the bar atmosphere and food, particularly the sea food options given the location. Unfortunately, something has changed over the last 12months. Staff are unfriendly, rude ("I've only two hands you know") and generally unhelpful. Even when we complained in a quiet manner so as not to... more

We got a great deal on b and b for a long weekend and decided to go despite other traveller's warnings on trip advisor. We had a wonderful weekend at the beach house. we found all the staff to be cheerful and friendly. the hotel is old fashioned but spotlessly clean and of a similar style to lots of irish... more

Just went in to use the leisure centre, would have been better of going for a swim in the sea, water in pool was ice cold had to get out after 5 mins, no hot shower after, jacuzzi out of order, sauna falling apart. Apparently it has been taken over by Polish. more

on arrival immediately asked for full payment this should have made us wary, never been asked money up front before in a hotel. The hotel has no lift which is bad enough as husband has mobility problems but we had to negotiate 41/2 flights of dangerous poorly lit stairs. Hotel advertised as having refurbished leisure centre the pool was freezing,... more

Warning do not stay here!!!This hotel was smelly, musty and old fashioned. there was no lift, which was a night mare as we had a buggy. My father in law has a sore leg and cant walk up stairs- is it not illegal to have a public dwelling without a lift??????????- discrimination against diasbled people. The rooms were clean but... more
