The Rathellen House is truely a home away from home and then some! The hosts, Stella and Eamonn were so gracious. They greeted us with homemade treats, coffee and tea upon our arrival. We found the rooms charming and very comfortable, you will sleep well during your stay. The kitchen was absolutely awesome! The manor was a little hard to... more

The Rathellen house was an amazing place to stay in Ireland. The location was perfect for traveling thoughout the country. We were thrilled with the accommodations, with the state of the art kitchen, lovely dining area and beautiful bedrooms. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely stay there again. more

Terrific accommodations for our family group of 25. We were not crowded. The bedrooms and bathrooms exceeded our expectations. We did a lot of meal preparations in the fabulous commercial kitchen which has huge fridge and freezer space, and every utensil, pot, pan, bowl you could ever use. There are enough dishes , silver, and glasses for more than a hundred... more

Rathellen House has the wow factor! A large elegant house of georgian design but only three years old in a rural setting. We were upgraded to the master suite with a four poster bed and found everything superb. The attention to detail throughout the house was amazing. The breakfast served on fine bone china was a real treat and there... more

Rathellen house in one of the nicest B&B's I have stayed in. The house is a newly built Georgian house tucked away nicely in the country side. It is beautifully decorated and the people who work there are extremely friendly. The room was big & comfortable with a four poster bed. The bathroom is clean and big with a huge... more

This is a beautiful guest house, decorated to a very high standard. The owners are friendly and attentive. The beds are so comfortable and only for the fabulous breakfast we couldn't have got out of them. Home made scones and flapjacks are just some of the special extra details. This guest house is ideal if you are attending a wedding... more

Live like gentry in this fabulous retreat away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. We stayed at Rathellen House for two nights B&B and one dinner whilst on a hill walking trip in the nearby Galty Mountains. The house is magnificent and although just a couple of years old, gives the impression of a dwelling built for gentry... more

This is truly one of the nicest and most amazing places I have ever had the pleasure of staying. Everything about this house was exquisite, from the way it was decorated, to the amenities of the room, down to the piping hot scones that Eamonn brought us fresh from the oven at breakfast. He and Shelly couldn't have been nicer,... more

My husband and I arrived at Rathellen last week for a one night stopover, and were greeted by the very warm and kind Eamonn. My husband was pretty unwell with a heavy cold and cough. and although I had previously booked the master suite I aksed if it were possible to change our bookings. to two separate rooms as otherwise... more

Several weeks ago we stayed at a fairly new and truly lovely upscale B&B in Bansha, Ireland, that we’d like to bring to your readers' attention. Rathellen House (http://www.rathellenhouse.com) is a beautiful country house with very comfortable and attractively furnished rooms. The room we stayed in was huge (four poster bed, many antique furnishings), as was the bathroom that even... more
