My sister had stayed in this hotel before and had a very pleasant experience. Myself and some extended family members stayed for a night in November. Ate food in the hotel bar and had no issue with it. The gym for some reason closed at 6.30pm so I found that a little early. In general up to 3.30am I had... more

I recently treated my overworked partner to a rare night away from our busy schedules!I didnt want to venture too with work the following day far so we stayed within the county and chose Ashdown as I had attended a wedding there before and thought it was lovely. As it was midweek the value was excellent and we got a... more

I recently stayed with my husband and 2 kids in the Ashdown Park Hotel. This was a really enjoyable stay from the minute we got to the hotel. The girls that checked us in were really nice and seemed genuinely interested that we enjoyed our stay and they made sure that the kids knew all about the leisure centre and... more

Recently stayed here overnight to attend a meeting nearby the next day. I have to say teh staff were excellent, however the hotel in general may need a little work doing to it. I have to say with regards staff and service the hotel is very good espically the breakfast service. For a quick overnight stay I would definately reccomend. more

lovely hotel, fabulous food, wonderful bar and restaurant staff. No facilities for children except for pool. Quite boring, if you have a young family, entertainment not great. would be good for a quiet relaxing weekend away. more

Have just returned having spent a weekend at this fab hotel. The reception area is absolutely beautiful and very homely - carpet there is really warm. Bedrooms are excellent and all facilities are first class. The food was exceptional in both the Ivy Bar and the Restaurant. The staff were very friendly and obliging. Had a great night with Brendan... more

Stayed with hubby and two kids in 2 inter-connecting rooms here for one night on our way somewhere else. Each room was more than spacious enough and had the standard amenities. Nothing really to complain about, but nothing exceptional either. Staff at reception badly trained and not friendly. Bar very noisy and some of the charaters in there looked a... more

I recently stayed in the Ashdown Park Hotel with my wife and Kids for 2 night's bed & breakfast and 1 evening meal. We found the price just right as kids share free!! Our trip down from Dublin was effortless with the new bypass it only took us 50 minutes and Gorey is very well sign posted. The staff were... more
