We have stayed in this this guesthouse a few times. It has always been excellent. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is first class - with a wide-ranging choice and first class quality including the wonderful fresh fruit! All the rooms are beautifully decorated to the highest standard with outstanding furniture. The garden is beautiful and there are very... More

Thank you Phileomena for a lovely nights stay at your beautiful home. From the scones and tea on arrival to the wonderful breakfast - wide selection of buffet and lovely cooked breakfast - you won't be disappointed. The rooms are beautifully decorated using lovely antique furniture. The setting is peaceful and quiet. It's easy to find - just off the... More

We booked this b and b as we were going to the nearby seafield hotel for a wedding. We arrived at the house and received a lovely welcome from the ever friendly philomena. After being shown to our room-which was only fabulous- we were invited into the sitting room for tea and scones. I've been eating scones for a long... More

This is the best B&B I have stayed in in Ireland. We were greeted with homemade scones and coffee, the room was charming, and we were made to feel exceptionally welcome by Philomena. It is a beautiful place to stay and I'd highly recommend it.

Myself and my sister stayed in Woodlands last week, as we were doing some Genealogical research locally. Philomena, John, Ciara and Marcetta (Oops, sorry if spelt incorrectly) just made our stay absolutely fantastic. Woodlands is a little gem, I have no hesitation in highly recommending a stay here. We will definitely be back. Trish and Shirley.

Lovely B&B close to Gorey and main road. Easy to find, yet off the beaten track. Beautiful house and handy parking right outside the door. Very casual check in procedure, we weren't even asked our names just brought straight up to the room. The house is very old fashioned, a little too cluttered but we accepted that as quirky! Our... Hi stayed here for one night this week and really liked it. V friendly staff and owners. We arrived late and tired on bikes and enjoyed the pot of tea and home made scones. Highlight of the stay was an incredible breakfast spread, bowls of granola with rhubarb compote and stewed plums from the garden topped off with locally made... More

We stayed one night with our 4 year old son and I found the house to be so beautiful with a traditional Irish feel to it . The surrounding gardens were beautiful and my son enjoyed the tennis court on the grounds , the area was perfect just right between Gorey and courtown ! Also the food was brilliant with... More

Arriving at this beautiful old world house, we were treated to a selection of cheeses with home made chutneys, we were made to feel totally at home. The Ambience was set with beautiful background music and scented candles. During our over night stay we enjoyed the mature gardens with water features. The breakfast served was excellent, with home made pancakes... More

In May, we took our first trip to Ireland and if you believe in fate, fate put us in the hands of Philomena and John O'Sullivan. We booked online to stay at their B&B and it was the best decision of the entire trip. My husband says she made the best scones in Ireland. The welcome was warm and the... More
