When we stayed there, there was holes in the bedspread, towel rail kept falling off of the wall. The main evening meals are child portions looked very nice but not for adults you will need to eat elsewhere. Breakfasts were very good when they had the staff to look after the guests. Manager worked very hard when enough staff were... more

Having read the positive reviews of Beachcombers, my family and I were very much looking forward to our recent stay - but we ended up very disappointed. It is true that all three of our rooms were spacious and well equipped - the only problem being that in our room the bathhroom light was directly connected to the very noisy... more

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this brilliant hotel.the staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. our room was spotlessly clean with fresh linens -even a new shower curtain- every day. the food and service in the dining room was great and if the bacon sometimes ran out at breakfast time (not surprising when you... more

Everything is wonderful here. The staff - all staff from reception to waitstaff to cleaners - all were very friendly, always had a smile and something polite to say. The rooms are generous, the linen plentiful - towels, pillows etc., Beds comfortable. Breakfasts were fantastic, continental or cooked breakfast available. There were other meals available too, morning and afternoon tea... more

This is the second time I've stayed at Beachcombers and I must say the new owner is certainly upgrading the hotel. It's become contemporary but with a slightly eclectic note thus maintaining it's individuality. Having met the owner, he adivised me that the bathrooms are being refurbished this winter, but like Rome which was not built in a day it... more

We stayed in this hotel for a long w/e 17 Oct 08 as a party of 10 and everyone and I mean everyone said what a great time they had. The hotel has had a total refurb and our rooms were quite spacious. (although there was a little overhead noise but I've had that in 5* hotels). The staff were... more

We arrived on Thursday 25th September. Reception is clean and bright and staff were very friendly. The room we were taken to was number 19 in the older part of the front [roadside] building. The stairwell, corridor and he room all smelt very musty and this did not improve with keeping the windows wide open during the evening. We were... more

I just spent 7 days in Jersey with my 2 children and my grandparents staying at the Beachcombers Hotel. For 2 star accomodation I have to say on behalf of us all it was exeptional. The rooms were tidy, clean and spacious, even with 2 children in the room. Our room and bathroom where cleaned and hoovered every morning and... more

We stayed at beachcombers for a week and very much enjoyed our stay.my two children loved the swimming pool which was heated and could be used all through the day. The room we stayed in had just been decorated and was very clean.this hotel is quite noisy at night but no more noisy than any other hotel that I have... more

Hotel Beachcombers is not exactly the best hotel if you want to have a nice and quiet stay. The doors in the hallways slam all the time when other doors are opened and the rooms are quite noisy. So be prepared for your fellow guests' sounds if you want to go to bed early. The beds are fine, although blankets... more
