Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What an amazing place to stay. Yurts are spotless and very cosy. Love the fact that you are not overlooked by anyone. Andy and family look after you so well, nothing is too much trouble. We will be back!!

We stayed for a week and could of easily stayed longer,Andrew and his family are wonderful hosts nothing was too much to ask,the yurts are plenty big enough really clean and warm, even so we did light the log burner on two evenings. The area is amazing with spectacular views from your bed with the door of the yurt open, I lay in bed sun on my face on more than one morning. We will definitely be going back .Highly recommend

This was our first time in a yurt and our first time in Jersey, and we loved both. We stayed in Forest Green with our 5 year old. The yurt was wonderful, comfortable and cosy, and we loved sitting up on the terrace enjoying the amazing view over the bay. Owners couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. The walk up to the yurt was no problem for a 5-year old, who loved spotting all the wildlife (butterflies, frogs, grasshoppers etc) on the way up. Also the hot tub is a must with the view. St Aubin itself is a delightful place with some nice eateries. We do not usually go camping or caravanning, but normally prefer hotels - if you are the same, don't be put off a yurt: it's a great experience! Most relaxing holiday in ages.

Our second visit to Clifden Yurts in May half-term. So lucky with the weather over the bank holiday weekend. Loved chilling out and spending time outdoors and in the hot tub with a view! Andy and Cath (owners) are great, welcoming hosts - nothing is too much trouble and they are always happy to give advice, if needed or recommendations for local eateries. The accommodation, Lookout and shower block are all spotless, cosy and so very well equipped. Loved every minute of our short stay 😀

We've just returned from our third visit to Clifden and stayed in our favourite Yurt, Ship Ahoy. We love this place, great location, beautiful setting, comfy beds and the most accommodating, wonderful host. Clifden feels like home.

In July this year we have had a fabulous stay in 'Ship Ahoy'. We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 9 and 6 years. Realising that the Ship Ahoy yurt was the only 'family' yurt at Clifden Jersey Yurts, we wondered if the kids may be a bit bored with not having other children on site to play with but this was not the case at all. They absolutely loved having their own mini yurt to sleep in and lot's of grass/garden to play in. Of course we made use of the hot tub a few times! We barbequed as much as possible and enjoyed every minute of the fantastic view from our yurt. The yurt itself is beautifully funished with everything you could possibly need, comfy bed's and even a window in the roof! There's nothing like laying in bed and staring at the starry sky. We cooked alot and made good use of The Lookout (communal kitchen) which was well equipped and of course also boasted a spectacular view. The shower's and toilet's were spotless, clean and always had hot water. Andy was really helpful and gave us plenty of tips for good beaches and things to do. He was very attent and really made extra effort to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The fresh veg which was available to buy was really tasty and really nice to use for cooking in the lookout. It doesnt get much fresher than picking it and dropping it straight in the pan. Ted, Andy's father-in-law look's after the veg and garden's, he does a great job and is a really nice guy to chat with. He has so much to tell about the land and the area. St Aubin itself is lovely, just 2 minute's walk down the road and you have a good selection of bar's, restaurant's, a supermarket and little boutique's. There are also a few beaches to choose from and the harbour is really nice. We also walked across the causeway at low tide and visited the castle in the bay. A really quaint, pretty little village. We would definitely recommend staying at Clifden Jersey Yurts. We have very fond memories of our holiday and couldn't fault our choice of accommodation at all! Its not often you come home from 1 week's holiday feeling like you've been away for 2 week's. Ultimate relaxation!

Just got back from a week's stay at Ship Ahoy! Our two sons and us enjoyed it very much! It is a very special place to stay! The yurts and the kitchen and shower facilities are perfectly clean and the views are stunning! Thank you Andy for your hospitality, best beach tips, and for the fresh vegetables! An evening in the hot-tub under the stars was unforgettable.

Clifden is a total delight. We spent five nights there and didn't want to leave. We were in Forest Green, really comfy bed, log burner, little stove for our morning coffee and lots of pretty lanterns for the evening. The view across the bay is stunning, with the tide constantly changing the landscape is always different. The facilities on site are excellent, supper hot and powerful showers, clean toilet and lots of extras. We were very lazy and didn't use the kitchen but it was very well set up. It's so easy to wander into the beautiful harbour and with so many good restaurants to choose from, cooking was low on our priorities! Andy was so helpful, gave us good suggestions about places to go and even lent my daughter a bucket and spade. In my daughters words ' best holiday ever, when can we go back?'

So we enjoyed splendid Jersey sunny days all week. Swimming in the sea every day, dining out most nights... Bliss. But our stay was made special by the hospitality and thoughtfulness of our hosts at Clifden. Andy, Cath and Ted are lovely folks who really make you feel at home. Our yurt, ship Ahoy, was ultra cosy and the outside area is generous with the most wonderful views and light. The secure site only has 3 yurts which is social and safe, there is everything you need to feel right at home. Stay here and enjoy the tranquility. I would go back tomorrow if I could.

What a fantastic experience of yurt accommodation. Andy has pulled out all the stops to make your stay in one of his yurts memorable. Everything you need is within the grounds, even places to recharge i phones etc, hairdryer, shaver point, iron and ironing board all available. The potato shed and look out are both well equipped with all the little extras that help make your stay enjoyable. Homemade jams, chutneys as well as fresh veg, straight from the garden are available to purchase. The hot tub is well worth the money to use, stunning views across the bay. Great walking and cycle ways right on the door step, with a great bus network to take you round the Island. Will definitely recommend this to friends and plan to visit again soon.
