We stayed at The Porthole Cottage - Jersey in June 06, and found that the rooms were spacious and very clean, we had room 5, but although large, the shower was useless, and the view was spolit by building works on the church The huge bed was comfortable but all the furniture was cheap and dated. This place felt comfortable from the minute we arrived. John was waiting outside to meet us - and from that moment nothing was too much trouble. Food great, gardens wonderful and peaceful, 2mins to the harbour and a wonderful view across the bay to St Helier whilst still in bed. Have stayed here three times now and we will return. more
