On arrival at this hotel it was apparent that the staff were not as friendly as we have experienced elsewhere. We had to ask to move rooms twice as the first one was dirty and the second one was located next to a lift which was extremely noisy! The room we eventually stayed in for 3 nights was very dated... more

I was looking for somewhere to lay down my head as I spent most of my time away from the hotel. This is not a great hotel where I'd choose to go for a special occasion, but it's not bad either. Good points: - Room service - You can order any item from the restaurant menu or the Italian next... more

We went to the Appollo hotel over Easter and it was nothing special. The room was plain and adequate. Staff were friendly and a little eratic espically in the restruant. We ate here for two dinners. The first was ok.. the second my wife had an inedible attempt at stew and she didnt eat it. We didnt complain and to... more

We have just returned from a long weekend at the Apollo. Staff were friendly, except the man who asked if we wanted tea or coffee with our breakfast, (i think we needed to pay some more money for a smile!) The bed was really uncomfortable, hard & the sheets felt gritty. The bathroom was very dated & tired, the sink... more

My Husband & I have just returned from a weekend at the Apollo, we had booked a superior room as it was our Wedding Anniversary. On arrival the receptionist advised us we had been upgraded to a Balcony room. This was a very nice room on the first floor overlooking the swimming pool. Also a bottle of champagne was waiting... more

On Jersey for a weekend hockey tour. Started well at reception with the receptionist smiling broadly and getting involved with the banter. My room was tired and old, found out later that the plumbing was interesting too. To be fair, we were on tour what your room is like isn't a high priority - as long as the bed is... more

Just back from a week in Jersey and a stay at the Apollo. Location was very good with town/nightlife being only a short walk away. The rooms however were fairly grim. Although clean enough the room and bathroom were in dire need of a makeover. The tiling in the bathroom looked like it had been done by a four year... more

My husband and I have just spent 5 nights at the Apollo Hotel on our first visit to Jersey. The location is excellent, near enough to walk to shops and harbour front, but also has a car park at the back so that guests arriving by car can easisly park without having to pay on the car parks. The hotel... more

Stayed here for 8 nights, first night had a room above the bar so very noise. Moved to another room for rest of stay. Rooms average, with loose fitting carpet, cracked tiles in bathroom, very creeky floorboards, tired funiture, basic shower. Tiny tv with basic 4 chanels and sky news only, no tv in public areas with additional choice. Appears to... more

stayed at this hotel Sept 15 for four days. room allocated directly above Boot Bar, nothing but road noise, football hooligans watching sky sports every night, they even held a funeral reception in there all afternoon, they made enough noise to wake the dead. Had to use earplugs to get to sleep. Of course could have moved to other rooms... more
