We were not initially disuaded by comments about the very steep hill upon which this hotel was positioned. Love the hotel, family friendly lovely grounds and rooms excellent. Eating with the children early helped we did shifts one ate with one child and the other ate with the older child later on. Great holiday, lovely pool and lovely Island. more

This is a big hotel set way out of town (30 minute walk uphill home) past the hospital and dominating incinerator chimney. The gardens are lovely, spoilt at the front by the ashtrays in abundance encouraging guests to hang around there smoking. Also in residence at the entrance are the hotel's huge dogs.
