This was a last minute decision to get away for a few days; a trip to the travel agent came up with a 4 day break at the Mornington in St Helier. The Hotel was very comfortable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff that seemed to go that extra mile to ensure that all was as... more

The location of this hotel is fairly central a few parking spaces 4/5 to rear . The hotel is very dated example being the cork wallpaper on the corridors it may be called retro I am sure that's how my kids would describe it I just think tired. The room we stayed in no4 do not stay in unless you... more

myself and my husband have just returned from a weeks holiday at the mornington hotel. I had previously stayed here before but my husband hadn't. I agree it could do with re decorating and updating but it is spotlessly clean and the staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I agree that the waitress who serves you... more

We just finished an excellent four night stay at the Mornington and loved it. It isn't very swish, its an unpretentious, comfortable and very friendly place to stay. The breakfast was excellent (although quirky at times) and the young Columbian lady who waited on us must be the most cheerful and charming waitress on the planet - she brightened even... more

My partner and I enjoyed a week's stay. The EnglandMatilda review elsewhere on this page is unnecessarily harsh. Admittedly, there was traffic nearby, but double glazing muted the sound of it. That the interior decor was mildly garish is the worst that could be said about the establishment. I'd certainly recommend it. Fellow guests seemed as contented as we were. more

We just returned from Mornigton Hotel in St. Helier (Jersey). The hotel is family owned and very confortable. The staff is friendly and always available. In the hall is available a free of charge internet wi-fi connection. A couple of day a week, the staff organize an evening dinner, very convenient considering both the variety of the menu offered and... more

Plusses: Family owned and run - friendly and helpful, with friendly staff. Although billed as a bed and breakfast hotel, they do evening meals a few times each week. Both breakfasts and evening meals are varied and good. Rooms and linen are clean and towels are changed daily. Met up with some guests who had stayed there several times. Close... more

Extremely dated , about 1970's, rooms were dark and dingy cork walls and green bathrooms, very noisy do not be tempted to have an evening meal , dreadful doesn't cover it. breakfast ok but boring would have loved some nice fresh bread and possibly an egg. good location, very nice staff. more
